Shingo 101 Times

The 101 is an excellent opportunity to learn about the principles of lean, and how to rate a company based on lean principles.

 

The Shingo 101 will be January 30-31

 

Requirements to come:

  • Must be a club member ($15 dues for Spring Semester)
  • Must RSVP by January 1st to have a seat (on January 1st the event will be posted on the Shingo website and will be open to the public to register)
    • RSVP to leanleaders@gmail.com before January 1st
    • RSVP to shauna.fairbanks@usu.edu or call 435-797-2279 after January 1st (seats may not be available)
  • Only 30 Seats available (first come first serve)

 

Details

  • PDF with the schedule and more details
  • A binder including all of the training materials can be purchased for $10, otherwise you will recieve files with the information that you will need
  • Meals may not be included, this will be announced in the future
  • Plan on being there all day, both days

I talked to Randy and he said the 30-31 work better than the 23 and 24th, so plan on the 30-31st.

Sweet, thank you for the confirmation. We should probably give out nice invitations to the faculty that Randy suggested, no later than finals week.

Awesome, we have a date to work with. I believe invitations would fall under Dannon's area, though obviously we should all help with them. Sam and his replacement would be in charge of keeping track of reservations. Members should email leanleaders@gmail.com their reservations.
